Federal supply group 51 contains hand tools that are powered, and hand tools that are non-powered. The group is further broken down into Federal supply classes: 5110 Hand tools, edged, non-powered; 5120 hand tools, non-edged, non-powered; 5130 hand tools, power driven; 5133 drill bits, counterbores, and countersinks: hand and machine; 5136 taps, dies, and collets: hand and machine; 5140 tool and hardware boxes; 5180 sets, kits, and outfits of Hand tools.
In supply class 5110 you will mostly find blunt or pointed tools such as hammers and screwdrivers. You will not find tools used for craft and precise measurements. Those are found in another Federal Supply Group entirely.
