Federal Supply Classification Group (FSCG) - The first 4-digits of the NSN. This is split into the FSG and the FSC.
Federal Supply Group (FSG) - The first 2-digits of the NSN.
Federal Supply Classification (FSC) - The second 2-digits of the NSN
ASAP Semiconductor supply ‘National Stock Number Parts’ that are recognized within the Federal Supply Group 61. This group is identified by the Defense Logistics Agency as Electric Wire, Power and Distribution Equipment.
The Federal Supply Codes within FSG 61 that we supply include:
NIIN stands for the National Item Identification Number. The NIIN represents the different parts within the particular Federal Supply Group. For example, within Federal Supply Code 6125, Converters electrical rotating, we supply parts such as complete battery charging equipment, motor converters, motor generator sets, phase converters and rotating equipment. Within Federal Supply Code 6145, Wire and cable electrical, we supply antenna coaxial cable, wire, magnet wire, fuse and resistance wire.
